Swimming -

On Tuesday 8th February, 41 students from Yrs 3-6 at St Gabriel’s went to the Ford Swim Centre for Swimming trials . The students showed great endeavour as they swam 50 metres of the pool in Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly. The students with the fastest time in their events will Swim next Tuesday 15th February at the Gippsland Regional Aquatic Swim Centre in Traralgon. These students will be notified on Friday and will receive a permission notice and program detailing the event on the day. I would like to congratulate all the students who participated on the swim trial day for ”giving it your best”. The behaviour and sportsmanship of all students on the day was outstanding. I would like to thank also Miss Johnson and Mrs Mihaly for assisting with the program on the day.
