Digital Technologies/ Design and Technologies

At St Gabriel’s Primary School, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) will be used as a tool to support and empower learning and thinking. Our students will have the opportunity to develop skills that will equip them to become responsible, competent and active members of the global community. Students will use the ICT facilities for learning, research, communication and collaboration.

St. Gabriel's has an abundance of ICT resources in our school, which supports learning at all year levels.

In Year 5/6 we have continued to implement a learning device program. Our iPad program supports our push to create a contemporary learning environment which offers flexibility and opportunities for independence, collaboration, connectivity to global resources, and learning anywhere, anytime. Students in Year 5/6 all have access to an iPad to assist them in their learning.
