Parents and Friends

At St Gabriel’s Primary School, we are very fortunate to have a positive and dedicated group of parents who work side by side with the school and the school board to achieve the best possible environment and learning outcomes for our children. Whilst we represent the interests of the collective parent body, we strive to bring the school community together through organising fun activities for the students and families to engage in, while raising funds for the school.

This involves organising and coordinating events such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls, special food days, icy pole days, hot cross bun drives, colour runs, just to name a few. The money raised is dispensed back into the school for things like uniforms for our sports representative teams, play grounds, technology, books, equipment, whatever the school needs to enhance every student’s school experience at St Gabriel’s.

Should you wish to join the Parents and Friends Committee, you will be strongly supported and well guided through the process which will see you become a confident committee member.

We meet at 2:15pm on the second Friday of each month (excluding school and public holidays). Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is ordinarily held in August where we elect office bearers for the next 12 months.

All parents and community members are welcome. If you are interested in joining the P & F Committee or finding out what’s involved, please feel free to speak with anyone in the school Administration Office so we can help make the connection.
